The Team You’ll Work With
The Sales Development Representative teams are the engine of Carta’s growth trajectory. In this role, you will directly contribute to private equity pipeline development by identifying and qualifying leads within the PE sector. We are committed to investing in our team and fostering internal advancement. All SDRs undergo comprehensive training on Carta software, private market finance, and equity administration, coupled with continuous education in consultative sales, client management, negotiation, and sales operations.
The Problems You’ll Solve
- Identify and qualify leads from PE-backed companies
- Develop expertise on Carta’s core product suite and essential private equity principles
- Engage actively with new and existing leads through innovative follow-up, fostering heightened interest and enthusiasm in Carta
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize top-of-funnel acquisition
- By supporting the SDR teams, you will enhance the overall company pipeline
- Deliver prompt and precise front-line support for all prospective customers interested in Carta
- Interact with potential customers in real-time via phone or video conferencing
- Implement cold outreach campaigns using a "customer-first" approach targeting finance leaders
