Role overview
This is Marloo's first dedicated outbound Sales Development Representative position in London. The role centers on the UK mid-market, targeting firms with 6 to 50 advisers, about 550 companies in total. The SDR will lay the foundation for outbound sales, from building target lists and crafting outreach to designing the playbook that drives results.
Teamwork is key. The SDR will coordinate closely with Georgia (events and partnerships) and Jack (UK go-to-market strategy) to align on territories. For larger accounts (10 or more advisers), the founding team takes over after the first demo. For smaller firms, the SDR manages the process through to closing.
This position offers a clear growth path, with opportunities to move into Account Executive, Sales Lead, or other roles that match individual strengths.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute Marloo's outbound sales strategy for the UK mid-market
- Manage target lists, create outreach plans, and build repeatable sales systems
- Use AI tools to streamline outreach and increase demo bookings
- Lead initial demos and close deals for smaller firms
- Hand off larger firm leads to the founding team after demos
- Share insights on market feedback, objections, competitor activity, and effective messaging
