About the Role
Join our expanding sales team as a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a solid understanding of the construction sector. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, qualify, and engage contractors in Division 9 (flooring, drywall, finishes) and Division 3 (concrete) to create premium sales opportunities. Utilizing platforms like HubSpot, Apollo, Gong, and dialers (Nooks, Orum), you will initiate outbound engagements and develop tailored outreach strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to pinpoint qualified prospects within the construction industry.
- Perform outbound prospecting through calls and email sequences directed at contractors and key decision-makers.
- Assess accounts and contacts based on project scope, company size (10–50+ employees), and key decision-makers (CFO, CIO, CEO, estimators).
- Personalize and enhance email sequences to boost engagement.
- Utilize HubSpot and Apollo for outreach and employ dialers such as Nooks or Orum for effective calling.
- Analyze calls and pipeline activities for continuous improvement.
- Execute data enrichment and cleansing to uphold accurate records.
- Navigate challenges posed by clients with limited digital footprints by identifying alternative methods to qualify leads.
- Collaborate with the sales team to discover multiple points of contact within organizations to enhance account penetration.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction industry with a grasp of project costs and assumptions.
- Demonstrated cold calling expertise with the capacity to engage contractors and decision-makers.
- Excellent English communication skills, in reading, speaking, and writing.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a systematic approach.
- Experience in account qualification and formulating outreach strategies.
- Adeptness in managing and refining prospect data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in selling to Division 9 or Division 3 contractors.
- Familiarity with SaaS or construction technology solutions.
- Experience in customizing outbound email sequences for improved response rates.
- Previous utilization of tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Orum, or Nooks.
