Your Role
As a Sales Development Representative at Cara, you'll be instrumental in catalyzing growth with leading insurance agencies, brokerages, and wholesalers. You will focus on creating and qualifying a pipeline, managing incoming inquiries, and executing highly targeted outbound campaigns aimed at prospective clients.
Your role will involve engaging with executives and operations teams, understanding their workflows and pain points, and positioning Cara’s domain-specific AI as a solution to enhance operations and increase premium production. Your ability to articulate the value of Cara, combined with a proactive mindset and interest in AI, will be crucial in shaping the future of work within the insurance sector.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Create and manage a qualified pipeline of insurance agencies, brokerages, and MGAs that align with Cara’s strategic customer profile through targeted outreach.
- Discovery & Qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand current workflows, tools, service bottlenecks, and growth objectives, running tailored Cara overviews to assess compatibility.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the founders and Account Executives to assess qualified opportunities, deliver product demonstrations, and support follow-up activities to ensure a seamless sales process.
- Sales Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of Cara’s sales playbook by documenting effective communication strategies, email templates, and field learnings.
- Identify Gaps and Opportunities: Gather, analyze, and organize feedback for the product team to enhance Cara’s offerings across new and existing segments, identifying growth opportunities.
- Event Coordination: Assist with outreach efforts before and after conferences, webinars, and industry events, helping to convert event interest into qualified leads.
