ABOUT INDIE CAMPERS
Indie Campers stands at the forefront of road-trip travel, boasting one of the largest campervan and RV fleets globally. Our expanding presence in Europe, North America, and Oceania reflects our dedication to making travel more interconnected, meaningful, and accessible for all. As the City Lead in Athens, you will play an essential role in executing this mission by ensuring top-notch rental operations, seamless service coordination, and a consistently customer-focused experience. You will be the on-site leader responsible for driving operational excellence, team performance, and the overall customer journey, bridging global standards with local execution.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Rental Supervisor, you will manage the daily operations of our Athens depot. This role requires hands-on involvement in executing and coordinating workflows, given the small size of the team and the absence of specialized units (Servicing, RV Sales, Support). Your responsibilities will encompass 70-80% hands-on work to ensure smooth operational flow, exceptional customer service, thorough documentation, and fleet readiness. Reporting directly to the District Manager, you will also oversee cost management within the depot, emphasizing efficient resource use, minimizing unnecessary expenses, and maintaining disciplined operational spending.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate all rental workflows including check-in, check-out, documentation, and system updates (including cleaning and maintenance).
- Monitor daily KPIs to ensure operational success.
- Advocate for ancillary products through value-based selling techniques.
- Conduct basic checks on RVs/vans (battery, water systems, gas, lights, tires).
- Quickly escalate complex technical or mechanical issues to regional servicing teams.
- Ensure the accuracy of fleet status and operational readiness in our systems.
- Coordinate daily shifts, set priorities, and allocate tasks within the small team, including demonstrating standard operating procedures and onboarding new hires.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of RVs for sales appointments.
PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift or move light-to-moderate items (10-15 kg) and stand, walk, and move around the depot for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work during weekends, holidays, and peak periods to meet urgent operational needs.
