Key Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain Roku Applications: Design, develop, and optimize Roku channels using BrightScript and SceneGraph, ensuring high performance and a superior user experience. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work in tandem with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Code Reviews and Best Practices: Engage in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and uphold best practices in coding standards and software architecture. Debugging and Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Roku applications, ensuring smooth and error-free operation. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest Roku development trends, tools, and technologies, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our development processes. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for both new and existing features. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting in their skill development and understanding of Roku development. Qualifications:Experience: 4-6 years of professional software development experience, with substantial experience in Roku development. Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical projects, make architectural decisions, and influence best practices in software development.
