Role Overview:
We are in search of a visionary and hands-on Robotics Technical Lead (AI & Manipulation) to spearhead the development of our next-generation AI-driven robotics products. This pivotal role will facilitate the integration of deep learning, robotics, perception, and real-world applications, directly influencing how machines comprehend, engage with, and adapt to the physical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the AI & Robotics roadmap from research and development through to real-world deployment.
- Lead teams in the creation of models for vision, control, and decision-making, encompassing deep learning, classical control, and sensor fusion methodologies.
- Architect and supervise the implementation of algorithms for real-time perception, manipulation, and motion planning.
- Develop foundational models or modular AI components to enhance scalability across diverse robotic platforms.
- Establish and uphold engineering best practices for data collection, training pipelines, and model validation.
- Collaborate closely with Hardware, Product, and Supply Chain teams to ensure reliable systems with efficient feedback loops.
- Assess and incorporate cutting-edge research to stay ahead of trends in robotics, AI, and simulation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI, robotics, or a related field.
- Proven track record in leading teams and projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics.
- Experience with real-time systems and deployment of AI solutions in production settings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
