What You Will Be Responsible For:
Spearheading the design and implementation of our robotics research agenda within the AI domain.
Recruiting, mentoring, and overseeing a small team of talented research scientists and engineers in our London laboratory.
Collaborating closely with world model and simulation teams to create state-of-the-art training platforms for robotics.
Directing the development of persistent 3D/4D scene representations along with advanced embodied AI methodologies.
Leading research initiatives in scene understanding, sim-to-real transfer, and advanced planning techniques.
Building and sustaining partnerships with leading machine learning researchers, hardware experts, and external collaborators.
Contributing to the establishment of the lab's technical culture and enhancing its external reputation.
