About Our Team:
The Fleet Operations Team is dedicated to maximizing uptime and optimizing operational performance across Formic’s expanding fleet of deployed robotic systems. Operating within active manufacturing environments, the team identifies issues, reinstates production, and continually enhances system reliability on a large scale. Fleet Operations operates at the nexus of robotics, controls, and practical factory execution, ensuring that Formic’s automation delivers consistent, quantifiable results across various industrial applications.
Your Role:
As a Robotics Field Service Engineer, you will take on technical ownership of Formic’s deployed robotic cells, diagnosing failures, restoring systems to operational status, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and serving as Formic’s representative within customer facilities.
This hands-on, high-responsibility role is crucial in uptime-critical settings. Success hinges on a strong troubleshooting mindset, calm execution during production disruptions, and meticulous documentation. Your contributions will directly influence fleet performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on robotic manufacturing cells.
- Address remote and on-site escalations, identify root causes, and restore systems promptly.
- Provide hands-on technical support to customer operators and maintenance teams.
- Document service activities, update assets, and maintain accurate records.
