Qualifications and Skills:Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly, robotics, or manufacturing settings. Strong proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and laboratory equipment, including soldering, crimping, and torque wrenches. Demonstrated experience with cable harnessing, wire routing, and electrical integration. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions. Familiarity with robotic systems, PLCs, or automated machinery is advantageous. Basic knowledge of CAN bus, Ethernet, and communication protocols. Excellent troubleshooting skills coupled with a keen attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Experience with inventory management and documentation tools (e.g., Notion, Excel). Prior experience in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics is highly regarded.

Collaborating closely with our Hardware Engineering team, you will play a vital role in transitioning robots from prototype to production, ensuring that quality and reliability are upheld at every stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and construct robotic systems based on engineering specifications, incorporating mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components.
  • Install, calibrate, and configure robots and end-of-arm tooling for diverse applications.
  • Conduct test protocols and quality assurance checks to guarantee optimal robot performance.
  • Maintain meticulous service records and documentation for robotic equipment.
  • Assist in hardware bring-up, including wiring, harnessing, and sensor/actuator integration.
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to diagnose manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee inventory management of parts, tools, and consumables for the hardware lab.
  • Provide training to team members on assembly techniques and best practices.
