Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and integrate precision electromechanical subassemblies, including small motors, gearboxes, encoders, PCBs, and delicate wire harnesses with fine-pitch connectors. Utilize miniature fasteners (sub-M2) and apply controlled torque to fine specifications (~1 Nm) using calibrated tools. Handle ESD-sensitive components, adhering to proper grounding and handling protocols throughout the assembly process. Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly diagrams to ensure specifications are met. Conduct in-process dimensional inspections to micron-level tolerances using precision instruments (micrometers, pin gauges, dial indicators, calipers, vision systems, etc.). Perform visual inspections for defects in workmanship, component damage, and assembly conformance. Route, dress, and secure delicate wire harnesses and connectors without damaging conductors or terminations. Maintain precise production records, including build logs, inspection data, and defect reports. Ensure your workstation is clean, organized, and compliant with ESD and safety standards. Promptly communicate quality issues, process deviations, or material discrepancies to supervisors or the quality team. Collaborate across shifts with engineering to support continuous improvement and achieve production goals.
