Position Overview: Roadway Design Technical Manager
We are seeking a talented roadway engineer with a proven history of successfully managing a wide array of projects. In this pivotal role, you will lead project teams in the planning and design phases while also managing client relationships. You will play a critical part in strategic initiatives that drive the growth of our roadway group.
Your Impact
- Guide and mentor staff in enhancing their technical skills while executing projects.
- Oversee the technical aspects of projects, including determining necessary analyses and the appropriate methodologies (software, design assumptions, etc.).
- Ensure the production of high-quality engineering documents.
- Communicate technical progress and challenges to the Project Manager promptly and consistently.
- Follow all internal protocols for quality control, documentation, and project tracking.
- Provide technical specialization and advice on various projects as needed.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
- Conduct, review, and manage technical analyses and designs, ensuring all details are complete and compliant with PQMP.
- Aim to become a leading subject matter expert in targeted areas within the discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in roadway design and project management.
