Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Risk Analytics Manager to lead our Risk Data Analytics team. This pivotal role involves developing visualizations, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyzing data to identify opportunities for loss reduction and product enhancement. You will play a critical part in delivering enhanced value to our customers by uncovering risk strategy opportunities, documenting data concepts, and automating internal processes across the risk and operations teams. This hands-on management position reports directly to the VP of Risk Data Science and Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Risk Analysts, promoting a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation. Allocate approximately 20% of your time to individual contributor (IC) tasks, actively engaging in core analytical projects while maintaining hands-on technical skills.
Define, prioritize, and oversee the Risk Analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overarching goals of the Risk Department and the company.
Establish standards for metrics, data visualization, reporting, and automation within the risk department, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of insights.
Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster the professional growth of team members.
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders regarding Risk Analytics deliverables, translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
