Qualifications

ResponsibilitiesManage WiFi, 5G, and other wireless subsystems from a hardware perspective. Design, select, and integrate antennas into the robot, ensuring optimal specifications and performance. Validate OTA performance through field and throughput testing. Define factory test specifications, contribute to failure analysis, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Interpret electronic component datasheets to select parts based on performance, cost, and availability. Collaborate with mechanical and firmware teams to ensure seamless system-level integration and functionality. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Solid understanding of RF fundamentals, including antenna theory, transmission lines, and key RF system specifications (transmit power, sensitivity, desense, EVM, etc.). Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as VNAs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers. Ability to solder PCB components as required. Experience in debugging, characterizing, and optimizing across thermal, EMI, and signal integrity domains. Must be able to work full-time on-site.

We are on the lookout for an innovative RF Engineer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of the head sub-system for our advanced humanoid robot, NEO. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and integrating RF systems that facilitate the robot's expressive, perceptive, and operational capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include hands-on design, prototyping, and system integration, collaborating closely with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and industrial design teams. You will oversee connectivity components and assemblies throughout their lifecycle, from initial concept and prototyping to validation and mass production. Your contributions will significantly impact the reliability, safety, aesthetics, and scalability of humanoid robots deployed globally.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong background in RF design, thriving in a dynamic product development environment.
