As a key player in our hotel strategy, you will be responsible for implementing and utilizing Revenue Management methodologies, processes, and tools to optimize revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of daily updates and analyses for relevant hotel stakeholders.
- Identify discrepancies in reservations from the previous day or weekend.
- Monitor rate parity across all relevant distribution channels.
- Make daily data-driven decisions to enhance hotel revenue, focusing on pricing strategies, inventory management, and group quotations.
- Assist in managing room authorizations.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues.
- Set up rates, promotions, and restrictions, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed.
- Prepare and verify the accuracy of weekly performance reports.
- Support the preparation of materials for the weekly RevMAX meetings, including current performance against targets, competitive analysis, special event assessments, and online channel evaluations.
- Assist the Director of Revenue in compiling month-end reports and conducting ad-hoc analyses.
- Review and update hotel information across all distribution channels.
- Foster strong relationships with business partners and vendors while seeking new opportunities to enhance hotel performance.
- Assist the Director of Revenue with upcoming business plans, identifying gaps and implementing proactive strategies to maximize all revenue opportunities.
- Promote a strong Revenue Management culture within the hotel through weekly yield meetings and regular coaching and training sessions for hotel teams.
- Provide training for new associates on revenue management tools as needed.
