Position Summary

The Retail Support Specialist (RSS) is responsible for providing direct, frontline assistance to AT&T customers within bustling retail locations. You will directly engage with customers and retail partners to address various inquiries related to accounts, billing, devices, and services, often in fast-paced situations. To thrive in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, emotional resilience, and comfort with technology while maintaining composure and professionalism in a dynamic retail atmosphere.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Customer Support

  • Deliver friendly, professional, and solution-oriented support to AT&T customers in national retail settings.
  • Address inquiries pertaining to billing, account modifications, plan adjustments, device assistance, and service issues.
  • Troubleshoot wireless devices, network connectivity, and feature functions.
  • Effectively operate in high-traffic retail environments, ensuring focus and service excellence during peak hours and escalated situations.

 Retail Partner Support

  • Serve as the AT&T subject-matter expert for retail staff and third-party labor partners.
  • Act as the primary AT&T representative for these partners, providing in-store support for escalated issues.
  • Engage proactively with store leadership to address customer concerns and strengthen partnership alignment, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Work Environment & Schedule Expectations

  • This role is conducted in a retail setting, requiring standing and walking on the sales floor for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Comfortable working in high-energy, customer-facing environments with frequent interaction and problem-solving demands.

Operational Excellence

  • Navigate multiple systems while engaging with customers in real-time.
  • Thoroughly document all customer interactions.
  • Adhere to company policies, compliance regulations, and privacy standards.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and uphold approved planograms for mobile devices and signage.
