Role SummaryAs a Solutions Architect at Maven AGI, you will serve as the principal technical design authority, guiding both pre-sales and post-sales initiatives. You will be responsible for securing technical victories, developing production-ready reference architectures, conducting in-depth analyses, and overseeing security evaluations. Additionally, you will assist Forward Deployed Engineers in navigating the journey from proof of concept (POC) to final launch. This position is customer-facing and requires you to rapidly prototype solutions, validate findings with data, and translate complex systems for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn architecture and validation for complex projects, including grounding strategies, action frameworks, data contracts, identity management, observability, and service level agreements (SLAs).Design production-like POCs: Lead the definition of POCs for intricate client requirements, including establishing success criteria, evaluation methodologies, testing plans, and quality metrics, while collaborating with Product Management and Solutions Engineering partners.Hands-on prototyping: Create reference integrations using the Maven platform and resolve edge cases.Author reusable artifacts: Develop reference architectures, solution briefs, and demo baselines to enhance team efficiency.Lead executive-level technical deep dives: Conduct architecture and roadmap sessions, clearly communicating trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications7+ years experience in Solutions Architecture or Applied Engineering, particularly with enterprise SaaS or machine learning/language model products.Strong expertise in system design, including microservices/eventing architectures, REST/GraphQL APIs, and data modeling.Familiarity with LLM/AI: Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool use/function-calling, prompt and retrieval assessment, and safety guardrails.Practical coding skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/Node/TypeScript or Python, along with experience in integrations (APIs, webhooks, ETL/iPaaS).Exceptional written communication skills, diagramming capabilities, and presence in executive settings.Bonus: Knowledge of customer experience/support platforms (e.g., Zendesk/Salesforce), analytics, contact center/telephony systems, and regulated data environments.What We OfferOpportunity to make a significant impact in the forefront of AI innovation.Competitive compensation package, including comprehensive benefits and meaningful equity stakes.
