Role Overview
As a Research Scientist / Engineer focused on agentic systems, you will design and develop innovative software capable of planning, executing, utilizing tools, and learning autonomously. Your role will involve integrating large language model (LLM) agent research with engineering solutions that enhance chip design workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Agent Research & Prototyping
- Architect and refine agentic components such as memory, context engineering, tool usage, and multi-agent coordination.
- Experiment with prompting, fine-tuning, and orchestration to optimize agent performance.
- Infrastructure Development
- Develop scalable infrastructure for prompt iteration, testing, benchmarking, logging, and evaluation.
- Support pipelines for fine-tuning, automated evaluation, and model deployment.
- Collaboration & Integration
- Collaborate with chip designers and ML infrastructure engineers to integrate agentic workflows into chip design processes.
- Work alongside product teams to tackle fundamental agent challenges such as long-horizon planning and tool integration.
- Research & Metrics
- Establish and assess performance metrics for agent systems.
- Design goal-oriented agentic workflows to improve task completion efficiency.
