What You Will Do Lab Projects: Carry out DNA assembly (molecular cloning), mammalian cell culture, and cell transfection in BSL-1 and BSL-2 labs. AI Tools: Use AI and standard online resources as needed throughout the project. Independent Work: Complete assignments without direct technical mentorship from staff or other technicians. Each technician receives a dedicated workspace, equipment, and supplies, and works alongside about 40 other researchers. Who Should Apply Entry-Level Experience: Applicants should have no more than two weeks of prior biology lab experience (including jobs, internships, independent projects, or lab-based courses in cell culture, cloning, or related techniques). Current Lab Work: Those currently practicing biological laboratory research are not eligible.
