Qualifications

Genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Patience, compassion, and strong teamwork skills. Minimum age of 18 years. High school diploma or GED required. Capability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, along with a recent Tuberculosis test. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check. Physical ability to perform various tasks (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Able to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds. Must obtain RBT certification prior to starting.

In this fulfilling position, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with children, executing personalized behavior intervention plans under the expert supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include applying evidence-based techniques to foster essential communication, social, and daily living skills while effectively minimizing challenging behaviors. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to empowering children with autism to achieve their fullest potential.

We seek candidates who are not only patient and compassionate but also thrive in a collaborative team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and capable in your role, regardless of previous experience. Please note, working with children can be demanding; you should be comfortable with physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects or children weighing up to 50 pounds.
