Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Strong patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the last year). Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must achieve Registered Behavior Technician Certification upon completion of onboarding.

Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a vital role in transforming the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding position, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the expert guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your mission will be to employ evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social interactions, and essential daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors. We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to helping children with autism achieve their fullest potential.

Ideal candidates will be patient, empathetic, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you feel equipped to support each child's unique needs, even if you are new to the field. As the role can involve physical activity, you should be comfortable with standing, walking, sitting, and occasionally lifting or carrying children or items weighing up to 50 pounds.
