Join the dynamic team at VEGA Americas as a Regional Sales Representative, based in Birmingham or Montgomery, AL, Atlanta or Columbus, GA. This role requires approximately 50 to 60% travel across Georgia, the Florida panhandle, Alabama, and eastern Mississippi.

As a Regional Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving growth within a designated geographic territory through collaboration with our Representative Channel Partners. Your success will be fueled by building supportive and coaching relationships with sales representatives, visiting customers to showcase VEGA products, and identifying potential accounts that are currently underutilizing our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales metrics within your territory, assess individual representative performance, and develop strategies to enhance results.
  • Collaborate with all customer-facing departments to maximize success and assist representatives in promoting VEGA products.
  • Foster strong working relationships with sales representatives to align with VEGA’s sales objectives.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance the effectiveness of sales representatives.
  • Engage regularly with sales managers to ensure alignment and strategic focus.
  • Visit key clients to strengthen relationships and assist in negotiations and closing sales.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations and product training to clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Gather intelligence on accounts for future reference and support other sales functions by communicating field insights.
  • Identify and target accounts that are not fully utilizing VEGA’s products and create plans to engage them.
  • Take initiative for activities leading to introductory and developmental meetings, maintaining ownership until business is secured.
  • Work collaboratively with representatives to transition developed accounts to their responsibility.
  • Participate in team meetings to address challenges, improve processes, and create annual sales growth action plans.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to provide support to representatives and clients as needed.
