The Regional Payroll Manager is crucial in managing all payroll operations, partnerships, and product readiness across Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. This role guarantees compliance and efficient payroll delivery, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to uphold Globalli’s high standards for payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Payroll Operations and Product Development:

  • Lead execution of payroll processes in assigned countries, including payroll cycles, implementations, and operational readiness.
  • Act as the regional expert on payroll practices, country-specific requirements, and vendor capabilities.
  • Utilize the Globalli platform effectively to train internal teams and provide strategic guidance to regional stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Product, and Engineering to improve payroll operations, document enhancements, and train internal teams.
  • Conduct platform testing, define product requirements, document findings, and ensure the platform's functionality meets expectations.
  • Resolve payroll and integration issues by collaborating with stakeholders to achieve timely solutions across various employment models.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including setup guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Regional Payroll Compliance, Partnerships, and Country Readiness:

  • Take ownership of payroll operations in the assigned region, ensuring alignment with business demands.
  • Execute accurate and timely payroll processing for the region.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance-related discrepancies and escalations.
  • Maintain precise, audit-ready documentation of payroll processes and compliance reports.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate their implications to internal teams.
  • Manage relationships with last-mile payroll vendors, ensuring effective onboarding and performance management.
  • Oversee new client and country payroll implementations in the region.
