What You’ll Do:Collaborate with the Sales Team to effectively communicate Datadog's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. Lead and manage a team of both leaders and individual contributors to ensure customer success pre-sale. Assist in recruiting top-tier talent in your region, mentoring new hires during their onboarding process to maximize skill development. Ensure your team is well-equipped to support all necessary Datadog solutions, focusing on both technical and interpersonal skills. Work closely with Product Management, Support, and Enablement to maintain seamless coordination between pre and post-sales activities. Conduct semi-annual performance evaluations and collaborate on individual development plans. Who You Are:Possess 1-3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering leadership or mentorship role and 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or similar customer-facing position. Coachable, with a strong desire for professional growth and the ability to adapt to change. Proven track record in growing and developing teams. Experienced in recruiting both individual contributors and front-line leaders. Knowledgeable about current infrastructure, monitoring solutions, and technologies. Able to develop and execute evaluation plans with customers while mentoring others to do the same. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey both business benefits and technical advantages, while guiding others in this skill.
