Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Strategy, Data Management, or Data Insights roles. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. A proactive approach to learning and adapting within a fast-evolving VUCA environment. Basic understanding of economics/econometrics and proficiency in developing and analyzing business cases. A demonstrated track record in data products, data-related service strategy, change management, and business development within the Data-Driven Economy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Experience in analyzing complex datasets to extract actionable insights. Proven experience delivering data-driven products and solutions. Familiarity with data analytics platforms and knowledge of data management languages.

Join our dynamic Regional team as a highly motivated and skilled Regional Data Strategy Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in defining and executing our Data Strategy, directly reporting to the Regional Data Strategy team.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development

  • Craft a comprehensive Data Strategy that aligns with the overarching Regional Data Strategy.
  • Provide critical support for data-related mergers and acquisitions (M&As).
  • Identify and leverage pivotal data levers for organizational growth.
  • Engage with partners to foster data and open innovation initiatives.
  • Manage long-term projects aimed at improving risk evaluation processes for companies.

Innovative Data Management

  • Develop strategies for sourcing data through make/buy/multi-source/dual approaches.
  • Evaluate alternative data acquisition scenarios including costs and drivers.
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations to manage business requirements for data-related projects.
  • Create a long-term data evolution roadmap tailored to the country’s needs.
  • Establish a comprehensive data quality roadmap and define key performance indicators (KPIs).

Data Production Oversight

  • Monitor metrics and control data production processes within data factories.
  • Oversee the various data production workflows and workloads.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and delivery metrics are met consistently.

Data Ecosystem Expansion

  • Analyze and identify new potential data sources in both alternative and traditional markets.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to inform data strategies.
  • Define specific data roadmaps based on the unique needs of each country.
  • Assess and maintain data quality standards.
  • Conduct significance testing and predictivity assessments for new data sources.

Relationship Management

  • Coordinate with local Enhanced Information Centers (EIC) to manage relationships with Information Providers (IPs) and negotiate contracts.
  • Serve as an internal consultant on data-oriented topics.

Business Development and Data Consultancy

  • Support the exploration of new data use cases, including ESG considerations and sales keywords.
  • Assist with data-related tenders and bids.
  • Address level 2 data quality issues as they arise.
  • Provide direct support for sales accounts through training and customer engagements.
  • Assist the sales operations team in managing data quality and coverage on the ICON/URBA platform.
  • Oversee initiatives for data delivery to clients.
