About the Role
The Receiving Associate plays a crucial role in our operations by meticulously processing all incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes maintaining a clean and organized workspace, verifying product quality, and ensuring all documentation is accurate for each order. The successful candidate will need to possess a keen eye for detail, prioritize safety in material handling, and communicate actively with the production team to fulfill customer expectations and adhere to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping:
Securely package and wrap all products to prevent damage during transit.
Ensure paperwork accuracy by utilizing our ERP system to confirm the correct quantity and parts are shipped.
Create accurate bills of lading and ensure organized shipping documentation.
Monitor conveyor lines, remove finished units, and load products into trailers or designated storage areas.
Conduct product inspections to ensure quality and packaging compliance prior to shipment.
Prepare pallets for delivery by stretch wrapping and organizing as necessary.
Track critical daily shipping items and provide status updates to the production team.
Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials and equipment within the warehouse.
Manage recycling of materials in compliance with environmental regulations, ensuring a clean workspace.
Receiving:
Process all inbound shipments, verifying counts and quality against accompanying paperwork.
Deliver materials or parts in-process to production areas as required.
Perform visual inspections of received items for accuracy and quality.
Maintain accurate records of inventory data.
Material Handling and Inventory:
Conduct inventory stock spot checks to ensure accuracy.
