Key Responsibilities: Acquire a deep understanding of our client execution data, analytics, and models, spearheading improvements and initiatives while providing comprehensive support. Design reusable framework components that showcase our analytics/models to internal and external clients, ensuring seamless integration with client-facing platforms. Collaborate with product managers, consultants, and client services teams to comprehend, prioritize, and effectively fulfill project requirements. Develop robust production pipelines and automate the validation and quality assurance of new models and their applications. Conduct thorough evaluations of alternative data sources and integrate them into the production pipeline as necessary. Maintain and support existing research tools and products while auditing new technologies and use cases. Utilize advanced data processing techniques to enhance expertise in evaluating and analyzing realized transaction costs for Virtu’s peer clients. Qualifications: PhD in a quantitative discipline (such as mathematics, physics, statistics, or operations research). 2+ years of relevant industry experience or postdoctoral research. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independently formulating and resolving complex problems. Proficient in C++ and Python programming languages. Strong analytical skills, with a solid foundation in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
