Join our dynamic team at CCG Business Solutions as a Quality Manager, specializing in the electronics sector. We are looking for a candidate with robust experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Box Build within a PCB manufacturing context, supporting both military and commercial products. Familiarity with contract manufacturing processes and ITAR regulations is a significant advantage. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality system's performance, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS 9100 standards, along with other regulatory requirements. This pivotal role reports directly to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001/ISO 13485/AS 9100 standards and regulatory requirements; represent the company during audits.
- Conduct thorough audits and refine processes to ensure alignment with quality, ISO/AS guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and monitor quality control objectives, manage customer returns, and align production processes to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis initiatives across the organization.
- Oversee the corrective action system, ensuring timely resolution and closure of Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
- Organize and deliver training related to product quality and reliability, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and training for new hires.
- Develop and implement supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Regularly interface with customers to meet and exceed quality expectations.
- Report on the Quality System performance to senior management at the site level.
- Assist Program Management and Sales in acquiring and initiating new customers.
- Effectively manage the departmental budget.
- Lead documentation control processes.
- Oversee Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and calibration activities.
- Drive the onsite Continuous Improvement initiative through Quality Teams.
- Support broader Continuous Improvement Programs across the company.
- Engage actively in corporate initiatives focused on new Quality System certifications and Best Practices.
- Participate as an active member of the Site Management Team.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager.
