The Equipment Quality Team ensures the accuracy and reliability of tools and devices used in both preclinical and manufacturing environments. This group works hands-on with biomedical equipment, including lasers and RF systems. Role overview

The Quality Engineering Technician brings strong applied metrology skills to Neuralink’s quality program. The role involves calibrating, repairing, and maintaining equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting instruments, supporting new or modified devices, and occasionally traveling for work. Collaboration and clear communication with other teams are essential parts of this position.

Key responsibilities

  • Calibrate and maintain instruments or devices within the equipment quality program, working with minimal supervision
  • Offer technical input to help management develop work procedures and protocols
  • Support the design, fabrication, testing, and acceptance of new or modified equipment
  • Identify and request necessary parts for maintenance and repairs
  • Follow cGxP guidelines, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations
  • Assist management in planning work schedules and estimating project costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, troubleshoot issues, and enhance product quality
  • Communicate calibration challenges and procedures to equipment custodians and management
