Qualifications for QCSM Manager:Must be eligible to serve as a USACE CQC System Manager on federal projects. One of the following qualification paths:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with over 5 years of relevant experience. OR over 7 years of quality control experience with ICC Commercial Building Inspector certification (willingness to obtain ICC certification if not already possessed). Strong knowledge of construction specifications, drawings, and federal QC protocols. Proven ability to make swift, informed decisions and manage tight project timelines. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with teams and stakeholders.

This direct hire role is essential for overseeing Contractor Quality Control (CQC) on prestigious federal construction projects, particularly those involving the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

As a pivotal figure in our team, you will wield full stop-work authority on quality issues, ensuring compliance, safety, and successful project execution at federal job sites.

Your Responsibilities as QCSM Manager:

  • Act as the primary CQC System Manager with complete authority over quality control processes.
  • Enforce the project-specific Contractor Quality Control Plan (CQCP) effectively.
  • Conduct and meticulously document all QC Three-Phase Inspections.
  • Ensure a continuous onsite presence throughout construction phases.
  • Review project submittals and manage tracking of long-lead items.
  • Utilize and maintain the RMS3 system for daily reporting and documentation.
  • Coordinate essential inspections, utility shutdowns, and field quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate photo documentation, red-line as-builts, and LEED tracking as necessary.
  • Engage actively in weekly and monthly coordination meetings.
  • Lead training initiatives related to quality control and supervise quality personnel.
