Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly proficient and seasoned Quality Assurance Lead to join our dynamic team. In this client-facing role, you will lead a dedicated team of QA testers, overseeing all daily testing management activities, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and essential customer/UAT support. Your expertise in both automation and manual testing across various project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of exceptional software solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily testing operations for internal testing initiatives.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Provide testing estimates and identify dependencies necessary for test execution.
  • Manage resource allocation for testing efforts.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans for diverse testing projects, encompassing functional, end-to-end, and back-end/API testing.
  • Review product requirements, both internal and customer-facing.
  • Facilitate external UAT cycles; define processes and tools, triage UAT defects, and conduct root cause analyses for defects that escape detection.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and the product team to comprehend project scope and requirements.
  • Evaluate test cases for accuracy and coverage; enhance testing processes and provide training and mentorship to testers.
  • Monitor testing progress and results; escalate risks to Project and Engineering managers as necessary.
  • Conduct defect root cause analysis on issues that arise during Customer UAT and Production.
  • Engage closely with external customers to define project scope, identify testing dependencies, and execute testing strategies.
