Who is Heidi?

Our diverse team consists of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives, all dedicated to building tools that enable clinicians to focus on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has returned over 18 million hours to healthcare professionals, facilitating 73 million patient visits across 116 countries. Currently, we power more than two million patient visits each week globally.

With nearly $100 million in funding, we are expanding in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading healthcare systems such as the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.

The QA Internship Program

Our QA Internship is tailored for inquisitive, detail-oriented individuals eager to learn the intricacies of real-world software testing, validation, and release processes.

This internship initially emphasizes manual testing, focusing on ensuring the quality of features in production. You will collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to identify edge cases, critically analyze feature behavior, and ensure stable and reliable releases.

As you gain experience and confidence, there may be opportunities to delve into test automation and contribute to streamlining our QA processes.

You'll be integrated directly within an engineering team, playing a vital role in testing actual product features utilized in production daily.

Your Responsibilities

As a QA Intern, your tasks will include:

  • Conducting manual tests on product features prior to their release to production.
  • Critically analyzing product behavior to identify potential edge cases and failure scenarios.
  • Designing and executing test scenarios based on requirements, even in their incomplete state.
  • Early identification of risks and bugs to help prevent issues from reaching production.
  • Close collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers throughout feature development.
