We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Analyst with expertise in accounting to join our Product and Technology team. The Quality Assurance Analyst will engage effectively with developers, the quality assurance team, management, support, and product management throughout product definition and development phases, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that meets requirements and adheres to recognized accounting principles.

Your expertise in accounting may stem from academic training, hands-on experience in accounting or finance, or working closely with ERP or financial applications, where you have developed a strong understanding of accounting workflows and transaction processing. Your ability to leverage your accounting knowledge alongside analytical and testing skills will be an essential asset for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in Scrum team project planning, design discussions, and agile meetings.
  • Contribute to solution development by understanding requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and establishing testing strategies.
  • Serve as the accounting expert within the development team, collaborating with product management to clarify requirements.
  • Influence solution design by analyzing issues and actively participating in design sessions.
  • Identify variations in business flow and document them in written test cases and automated test scripts.
  • Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure software quality.
