Role overview
This Python Software Engineer position centers on building and maintaining the data aggregation, testing, and automation framework at AnySignal. Collaboration with engineers from various specialties is essential to enable rapid, repeatable testing for both space and ground segment components. The main goal is to create a software framework that allows for quick iteration and thorough evaluation of system features.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain a Python-based framework to automate engineering tests
- Design and manage systems for data aggregation and analysis
- Create user interfaces that connect hardware and software systems
Requirements
- Experience building Python libraries
- Strong understanding of networking concepts
- Ability to design extensible, maintainable software systems for a range of engineering projects
Preferred skills
- Background in designing scalable SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience with test automation, including equipment drivers, debugging tools, and socket interfaces
- Familiarity with Docker
- Understanding of RF and DSP concepts
- Hands-on work with GNU Radio
