In South Korea, a prominent and competitive gaming market, we are excited to announce a strategic Publishing Manager position aimed at establishing and overseeing our local publishing operations from the ground up.

Team

As the sole Publishing Manager in South Korea, you will work closely with our global publishing, product, and analytics teams. This role offers full autonomy after onboarding, with initial local support to facilitate connections with studios and navigate the market environment. This position is designed for an independent builder who is comfortable operating at a senior level.

The position can be based in either Seoul or Busan, requiring a strong local presence. While remote work is feasible for internal coordination, engaging with the local market is essential.

Role

As the Senior Publishing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Representing the company as the local face in South Korea, engaging with studios, partners, and key industry stakeholders.

  • Developing and nurturing a high-quality network of South Korean game studios, focusing on building long-term partnerships.

  • Collaborating closely with selected studios on game ideation, prototyping, and iteration, from initial concepts to global launches.

  • Managing the entire publishing lifecycle of multiple game titles, encompassing soft launches, global launches, live operations, and scaling strategies.

  • Leading product strategy, defining roadmaps, and managing P&L for your portfolio of games.

  • Launching multiple games annually and enhancing their performance through data analysis, market insights, and product intuition.

  • Being a key decision-maker in the publishing strategy, directly influencing revenue and growth.

Profile

  • Applicants should possess:

    • At least 5 years of professional experience in publishing, product management, or a similar role within the gaming industry.

    • A proven track record of successfully launching and managing mobile games in competitive markets.

    • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decisions.

    • Excellent communication and networking abilities, with a knack for building relationships.

    • A deep understanding of the South Korean gaming market and cultural nuances.
