Our client is a prominent management and technology consultancy with a rapidly expanding public sector division in the UK. They have successfully worked with central government, the NHS, and devolved administrations, boasting a robust history of executing large-scale transformation initiatives across digital, operational, and policy dimensions. Following significant contract wins, they are in search of a seasoned leader to spearhead delivery and foster client relationships.
The Role
In the position of Public Sector Transformation Lead, you will assume responsibility for the execution of intricate transformation programs for one or more central government clients. You will lead teams comprising consultants and client personnel, manage high-level stakeholder relationships, and ensure that the programs yield the expected results outlined in the contract. This role blends delivery leadership with business development responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the delivery of extensive and complex transformation initiatives within the central government, holding accountability for scope, quality, timelines, and outcomes.
- Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with client Permanent Secretaries, Directors General, and SROs.
- Lead and mentor a team of consultants by setting objectives, reviewing outputs, and supporting their career advancement.
- Contribute to practice growth through bid leadership, thought leadership, and proactive relationship building in Whitehall.
- Ensure that program governance, risk management, and reporting comply with both internal quality benchmarks and client expectations.
