About the job
Full-Time | Remote Role | Evening and Weekend Availability Required | Fixed-Term Contract
Join our innovative psychology team at Second Nature, one of the most dynamic health-tech companies in the UK, as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).
In this pivotal role, you will assist individuals living with obesity in making lasting lifestyle and behavioral changes. You will collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team within our Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS).
This position is fully remote, but candidates should be flexible to accommodate some evening and occasional weekend sessions.
The Challenge
Over 25% of adults in the UK are affected by obesity, a chronic condition that severely impacts both physical and mental health, diminishing overall quality of life. Access to specialized weight management services remains limited and varies across regions due to insufficient funding, leading to long waiting lists and delayed treatments that can adversely affect patient outcomes.
Enter Second Nature...
Our mission is to combat obesity and type 2 diabetes for all, enhancing access to effective treatments for those living with obesity by integrating cutting-edge behavioral science, psychology, technology, and the expertise of our exceptional team.
Second Nature is dedicated to providing specialized weight management services, and we are looking for a passionate Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our expanding psychology and multidisciplinary teams (MDT). This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the growth of specialist weight management services in a fast-paced startup environment.
