Qualifications
Responsibilities:Clinical CareConduct thorough three-part diagnostic evaluations, including separate sessions with caregivers, children or adolescents, followed by a detailed feedback session to ensure a comprehensive, family-centered assessment. Manage ongoing psychiatric medication through 30-minute follow-up visits, utilizing psychotherapy add-on codes to enhance therapeutic engagement beyond standard medication checks. Perform detailed biopsychosocial intake evaluations, incorporating psychiatric and medical histories, psychosocial functioning, family systems, cultural context, and relevant environmental factors. Conduct risk assessments regarding suicidality, self-harm, harm to others, abuse, neglect, and safety concerns, initiating necessary clinical interventions when warranted. Implement trauma-informed, equity-centered, and culturally responsive practices in all clinical interactions. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including stimulants and controlled substances, adhering to evidence-based guidelines and Brightline's clinical protocols. Multidisciplinary CollaborationWork collaboratively with therapists, testing psychologists, coaches, and other non-clinical team members to deliver coordinated and holistic care for each patient and their family. Engage in case consultations, treatment planning discussions, and team meetings to maintain alignment across disciplines.

This hybrid position blends in-person care at the Albany clinic with remote work, requiring at least three days per week on site. The role centers on providing individualized psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medications using a structured three-part diagnostic approach.

Support and Supervision
- Report directly to the Medical Director.
- Access ongoing guidance from the Chief Medical Officer.
- Participate in weekly one-on-one supervision with the Medical Director.
- Join regular group supervision sessions with the broader team.
Work Location
This hybrid role is based in Albany, NY. In-person presence at the clinic is required at least three days each week, with the remainder of work performed remotely.
