Your expertise will drive automation and scalability through innovative engineering methodologies while ensuring that our mission-critical systems remain secure, resilient, and operational around the clock.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:o Lead a dedicated team responsible for the development, management, and security of RCU’s server and network environment.o Ensure 24/7 support for all critical systems and infrastructure.o Head the incident response team, establishing procedures and controls that uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of RCU systems and data.o Manage vendor relationships to coordinate repairs and maintenance of enterprise application system hardware.o Prioritize technical issues effectively and communicate resolution timelines as necessary.o Foster a positive work environment that promotes team member contributions, satisfaction, and professional development.o Guarantee effective disaster recovery and business continuity for enterprise applications and host systems.Infrastructure Architecture & Management:o Design, maintain, and administer the technology infrastructure that supports The Redwood Group, including network, server, virtualization, storage, database, and telecom systems.o Develop comprehensive procedures and processes for overseeing and maintaining RCU’s infrastructure, including SAN/NAS storage systems, servers, and databases.o Implement monitoring and alerting tools to deliver real-time insights on the security, performance, and availability of RCU systems and networks.o Automate essential tasks related to infrastructure management, including administration, monitoring, testing, and deployments.o Provide insights on budgetary considerations while ensuring operations remain within fiscal constraints.o Contribute to key departmental and corporate strategic initiatives and provide recommendations for the IT Business Plan.o Create, maintain, and validate disaster recovery processes for all systems and network equipment, ensuring achievable recovery time and point objectives.o Assist teams in troubleshooting, testing, and debugging configurations for PCs, servers, networks, and printers.
