Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement control algorithms for electric propulsion systems utilizing embedded C code. Design and optimize resonant converter control systems to enhance power efficiency and system reliability. Integrate and validate power electronics components, particularly DC-DC converters, within propulsion systems. Conduct simulations, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and system validations to adhere to stringent aerospace performance standards. Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to troubleshoot and enhance propulsion control performance. Document technical designs, test results, and software iterations while complying with aerospace development protocols. Support the integration and testing of propulsion systems throughout prototype development and flight testing phases. Contribute to ongoing improvements in control strategies that align with Archer’s vision of sustainable aviation. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).3+ years of relevant experience in propulsion control systems or power electronics.
