Are you an aspiring architect seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic environment? J. S. Held LLC is looking for architecture students and recent graduates for our Project Support Services Internship, supervised by a registered architect. This position qualifies for the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP). The internship will commence in January 2026 and conclude in August 2026.
As a Project Support Services Intern, you will collaborate with a team of industry experts to analyze data and deliver exceptional client service. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing our project documentation and supporting proposal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and development of standardized documents to facilitate future proposal submissions and presentations.
- Revise Project Experience pages to align with our updated corporate standards.
- Engage in at least one real proposal development process for an upcoming project.
- Conduct analysis to compare existing Project Experience Pages with the new standards to determine necessary updates.
- Research and gather required information and narratives through project files, online resources, and team interviews to enhance Project Experience Pages.
- Collaborate with project managers to distill quantitative and qualitative data into concise, readable content for the one-page Project Experience summaries, including the development of accompanying graphics. Your supervisor will assist in formulating a standard set of questions for interviews with Project Managers.
- Provide weekly updates on the progress of Project Experience Pages to your supervisor through a 30-minute virtual meeting and written reports.
- Assist with graphic support for additional projects as needed.
