Required Qualifications:Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g., Structural, Civil, Electrical, MEP). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.0-4 years of experience in engineering or construction firms, or in a firm specializing in construction claims/disputes. Strong communication, mathematical, and organizational skills. Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Familiarity with marketing software and online applications (e.g., Adobe, InDesign, Word). A keen interest in sourcing and interpreting data/information/stories for marketing content. Creative skills to craft compelling project narratives in a concise one-page format. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Join us as a Project Support Services Intern at J. S. Held LLC, where you will gain invaluable experience under the guidance of a registered architect while contributing to significant projects. This internship is designed for architecture students and graduates and will qualify for hours towards the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP). The internship will take place from January 2026 to August 2026.

As an Advisory Intern, you will collaborate with a team of experts to analyze data and deliver exceptional client service, enhancing your skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing standard documents to support proposal creation and presentations.
  • Revise Project Experience pages to align with new corporate standards.
  • Engage in the proposal development process for a new project pursuit.
  • Analyze existing Project Experience Pages against updated standards to identify necessary information.
  • Conduct research to gather required data through project files, online sources, and team member interviews, updating Project Experience Pages accordingly.
  • Work with project managers to refine quantitative and qualitative data into reader-friendly content for one-page Project Experience Pages, including the creation of text and graphics.
  • Track and report on the progress of Project Experience Pages weekly during a virtual meeting and through written updates.
  • Provide graphic support for additional projects as needed.
