Turner & Townsend is seeking skilled planning professionals to oversee high-value, intricate construction projects as we expand our busy project pipeline.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in Primavera P6 software and data reporting, scheduling best practices, and resource and cost-loaded scheduling. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal project stakeholders.

The Project Planner will be responsible for complete service delivery, ensuring client goals are achieved through value-added services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to establish the master project schedule, agreeing on baselines and critical paths.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute construction schedules.
  • Regular site visits are required.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and subcontractors daily.
  • Create and maintain detailed construction program schedules using Primavera P6 and Tableau across multiple projects.
  • Ensure all schedule-related data from vendors, suppliers, and contractors is integrated into planning systems.
  • Implement project planning strategies and procedures, clarifying roles and expectations for both the company and contractors.
  • Work closely with project managers and subcontractors to uphold schedule integrity.
  • Provide quality assurance and interface with project functional groups regarding schedule performance tracking.
  • Organize multiple sources of scheduling inputs into a master schedule and deliver project status reports as needed.
  • Prepare and update progress reports for clients, including contributions to the monthly project report.
  • Generate high-level and 1, 3, and 6-month forecasts from P6.
  • Conduct probabilistic analyses on integrated and contractor schedules.
  • Monitor and communicate potential project issues that may affect the schedule.
  • Perform critical path and schedule risk analyses to identify deviations from the baseline and suggest corrective actions.
