We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team in Raleigh. This role is more aligned with a Project Management Assistant, Junior PM, or Project Coordinator, requiring a candidate who possesses a PMP certification (or is currently pursuing one) along with experience working within a PMO environment.

The PMO plays a critical role in supporting project managers by assisting with project planning, financial oversight, and the tracking of risks, issues, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Structuring, scheduling, and leveling project plans
  • Allocating resources effectively
  • Tracking dependencies

Financial Management:

  • Assisting in business case development and tracking
  • Monitoring CapEx and fixed-price budgets
  • Providing project accounting, status updates, and forecasts

Controlling:

  • Managing quality assurance
  • Monitoring and managing risks and issues

Reporting & Communication:

  • Delivering progress updates, status reports, and forecasts
  • Managing exceptions
  • Developing communication strategies using tools like intranet, emails, and internal meetings
