Qualifications

Qualifications:3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in K-12 and/or higher education construction sectors. Proficiency in projects requiring DSA oversight. Preferred professional degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction technology, interior design, or business administration. Strong negotiation skills and ability to draft and execute subcontract agreements. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Technological proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore. Experience with Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and/or Design-Build delivery methods. A commitment to teamwork and client service excellence. Valid Driver’s License.

In this role, you will oversee diverse projects across various sectors including:

  • Multi-Family Housing
  • Ground-Up Construction
  • Tentative Improvements
  • Higher Education Institutions (Colleges/Universities)
  • K-12 Construction with DSA Oversight
  • Specialized Sectors (OSHPD, etc.)

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Reviewing plans and specifications for accuracy, preparing General Conditions, and establishing baseline schedules for all subcontractors or self-performing teams.
  • Tracking project costs and managing all change orders, RFIs, and owner pay applications.
  • Overseeing shop drawings and submittals, drafting subcontracts and purchase orders, managing subcontractor relationships, and conducting regular job site coordination meetings.
  • Maintaining client relationships and ensuring ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
