Qualifications

Qualifications:A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in K-12, College, or University construction sectors. Demonstrated experience with DSA oversight and managing related projects. A professional degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to draft and execute subcontract agreements. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore. Familiarity with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods. A valid Driver’s License is required.

Are you ready to elevate your career in construction management? Essel Environmental is seeking a talented Project Manager / Project Engineer who is passionate about overseeing impactful construction projects and driving them to successful completion.

As part of our dynamic team, you will manage mid to large-scale projects across various sectors including:

  • Multi-Family Residential
  • Ground-Up Developments
  • Tenant Improvements
  • Colleges and Universities
  • K-12 Construction with DSA Oversight
  • Specialized Sectors (OSHPD, etc.)

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Reviewing project plans and specifications for accuracy, preparing General Conditions, and establishing baseline schedules for subcontractors or self-performing teams.
  • Tracking project costs, managing change orders, RFIs, and owner payment applications.
  • Overseeing shop drawings and submittals, drafting subcontracts, and managing vendor relationships while conducting regular job site coordination meetings.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
