Requirements:3 to 5 years of experience in K-12, college, or university construction sectorsProven experience with DSA oversight on managed projectsA professional degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field (mechanical or civil engineering, construction technology, interior design, business administration) is preferredStrong negotiation skills with the ability to draft and execute subcontract agreementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and ProcoreExperience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methodsA valid Driver’s LicenseA collaborative team player committed to client service

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager / Project Engineer who is ready to take on exciting challenges in the construction industry. If you have a solid foundation in managing mid to large-scale construction projects and are passionate about expanding your expertise, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will oversee a range of projects across various sectors, including:

  • Multi-family housing
  • Ground-up construction
  • Tenant improvements
  • Colleges and universities
  • K-12 construction projects with DSA oversight
  • Specialized sectors (OSHPD, etc.)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing plans and specifications for accuracy, preparing General Conditions, and establishing baseline schedules for subcontractors or self-performing teams
  • Tracking project costs and managing all change orders, RFIs, and owner pay applications
  • Overseeing shop drawings and submittals, drafting subcontracts and purchase orders, managing subcontractor relationships, and conducting regular job site coordination meetings
  • Building and maintaining client relationships with effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
