Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager in Learning and Development! In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of innovative educational content for our automotive clients, including videos, eLearning modules, and instructor-led training sessions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project planning, execution, and oversight, ensuring timely completion within budget while maintaining clear communication with senior management, team members, and clients to meet organizational and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects while consistently delivering high-quality solutions.
- Understand and align with the business objectives associated with each project.
- Provide proactive solutions to clients and leadership.
- Create comprehensive proposals, statements of work, budgets, and timelines.
- Own all aspects of project development and delivery, ensuring quality, timing, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and communicate detailed project plans to meet timelines.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve resource constraints or conflicts.
- Escalate issues while providing solutions and guiding challenges to resolution.
- Oversee project financials, including spending and forecasting.
- Maintain regular communications (both written and verbal) with senior management and clients regarding project progress.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
- Lead discussions with clients and internal stakeholders related to projects.
Project Team Management
- Build rapport with assigned project teams and key stakeholders.
- Align internal schedules and processes to fulfill client’s vision.
- Consistently communicate project status to the MSX Production Lead.
- Interface with geographically dispersed team members and suppliers.
- Take responsibility for content development projects, providing clear direction to instructional designers and production personnel.
- Ensure accountability for product quality and final delivery to clients.
- Manage Assistant Project Manager.
Client Management
- Establish strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings, leading conversations on scope and details.
- Set and maintain clear expectations with clients.
- Manage all client communications, including weekly status updates and presentations.
- Attend onsite meetings at client locations when feasible.
- Support business development initiatives as necessary.
- Gather feedback and data to enhance project outcomes.
