This exciting position entails traveling across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:Collaborating with plant coordinators for steel deliveries, steel decks, joists, and hardware.Coordinating with steel erectors regarding daily requests and project managers.Participating in field meetings with other trades and providing summaries to the project manager.Working closely with the detailing and engineering department on field works, revisions of drawings, and clarifications for missing details.Managing the acceptance of erection drawings and following up on acceptance dates.Addressing transportation issues related to deliveries.Overseeing the reception of materials and hardware, ensuring all delivery slips are validated.Maintaining a daily site report through daily logs in PlanGrid.Assisting steel erectors with repair requests and addressing field work deficiencies.Conducting quality control checks through visual inspections.Supporting health and safety coordinators.Attending and engaging in on-site and off-site meetings, including health and safety meetings.Updating daily site progress in Smartsheet.Monitoring project schedules and communicating updates with various stakeholders and the general contractor.Managing on-site record-keeping, including daily site-specific hazard assessments.
