Trueline, a rapidly expanding provider of construction solutions, is on the lookout for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to become a vital part of our team in Richmond, ME. In this dynamic role, you will spearhead the on-site execution of paving and roadway construction projects while ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives on managing personnel, schedules, and project specifics from inception to completion.

Your Role as a Project Manager:

  • Lead and oversee all phases of assigned construction projects on-site, from mobilization to successful completion.
  • Coordinate daily schedules for subcontractors, crews, and equipment to enhance project efficiency.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all project documentation, estimates, billings, and compliance paperwork.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordination sessions with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Monitor work to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and MUTCD requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to review project status, budget tracking, and cost control measures.
  • Supervise hourly construction staff, emphasizing safety, productivity, and teamwork.
  • Maintain detailed project schedules and make necessary adjustments to meet key milestones.
  • Contribute to work zone setup and traffic control planning in the field.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to facilitate successful project delivery.

Essential Qualifications for the Project Manager:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant construction experience with a solid understanding of Maine Department of Transportation specifications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Proficient knowledge of pavement construction practices and safe work zone setups.
  • Ability to accommodate fluctuating hours, including early starts, extended days, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to pass a physical examination and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications for the Project Manager:

  • Supervisory experience in heavy civil, paving, or highway construction.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles during project meetings.
  • Commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
  • Traffic control and MUTCD certification or training.
